Pregnancy and postpartum aren’t always the picture-perfect seasons we see online.
You might feel exhausted, anxious, or disconnected — and then guilty for feeling that way.
Between hormone shifts, identity changes, body image struggles, and the endless mental load, it can be hard to recognize yourself anymore.

At Rooted & Nourished Psychotherapy, I help women navigate the emotional, physical, and relational changes that come with pregnancy and new motherhood. You don’t have to go through this alone — and you don’t have to wait until you “have it all together” to get help.

Perinatal Therapy for moms seeking more support; if this sounds like you, I see you.

Honest support for the mental load of motherhood — before, during, and after birth

"I don't feel like myself anymore."

“I should be happy, but I just feel numb."

“I can't stop crying after having my baby.”

In Nourish the Mother sessions, you get space to exhale, tell the truth about how you’re actually doing, and make sense of the emotions that have piled up underneath the day-to-day survival.

Together, we’ll sort through the guilt, the pressure to “bounce back,” the shifts in identity, and the moments where you feel like you’re supposed to be grateful… but you’re also exhausted, anxious, or disconnected from your body. Nothing is too small, too messy, or too “I should be over this by now” to bring into the room.

My goal is to help you feel more supported, more steady in your own skin, and more connected to the version of yourself that got lost somewhere between pregnancy, birth, and all the expectations that followed. You deserve a place where you can soften — and this is it.

Becoming a mother changes you in ways no one really warns you about — not just your schedule or your sleep, but your relationship with food, your body, and who you are now.

My Approach

Our first virtual therapy session is a space to slow down, breathe, and begin making sense of what’s been heavy. Whether you’re here in Waco, Texas or anywhere in the state, I’ll listen closely to your story — where you’ve been, what’s working, and what feels stuck — so we can start building a plan that fits your pace and your needs.
It’s the foundation for our work together, and a chance to see if this feels like the right fit for you.

After the intake session we will decide together what your treatment plan looks like and the amount of follow up sessions needed.

Does this sound familiar?
  • Worrying you’re not a “good mom”
  • Smiling in photos but crying alone
  • Thinking "other moms seem okay why is this so hard"
  • Feeling like you don't even want to get dressed today

Learning about how nutrition can fuel my body instead of starving myself is amazing. If you are in the same spot and what to be free contact her! Highly recommend it!
