Now accepting new clients in Texas
You did something enormous. and somehow everyone around you is focused on the baby, which makes sense, and also leaves you wondering why you still feel so off.
Maybe you're more anxious than you expected. Maybe you don't feel like yourself. Maybe you love your baby and also grieve the version of you that existed before. All of that is real, and none of it means something is wrong with you.
I'm Hannah. I'm a licensed clinical social worker in Waco, TX, and I specialize in helping women navigate the postpartum season the messy, beautiful, disorienting stretch of time after a baby arrives and everything shifts.
At Rooted & Nourished Psychotherapy, located in Waco, Texas I help women navigate the emotional, physical, and relational changes that come with postpartum and new motherhood. You don’t have to go through this alone — and you don’t have to wait until you “have it all together” to get help.
"I don't feel like myself anymore."
“I should be happy, but I just feel numb."
“I feel like I cry all the time”
"Why don't I feel connected to my baby"
"I'm scared I am not a good mom"
This isn't about fixing you. You don't need fixing.
Pregnancy and postpartum therapy with me is a space to slow down, make sense of what's happening in your body and your mind, and figure out who you're becoming as a mom without losing yourself in the process. We'll work at the pace of your nervous system, not a checklist. sessions are available virtually throughout Texas, and now also in person at my Waco office at 1600 Lake Air Dr, Ste 127.
You’ll learn to:
Reducing anxiety and intrusive thoughts
Processing your birth story or pregnancy experience
Reconnecting with your body in compassionate, non-diet ways
Managing perfectionism and unrealistic expectations
Building support systems that actually meet your needs
If you’ve been wondering whether what you’re feeling is “normal postpartum” or something more, this gentle self-check will help you make sense of what’s been heavy.
Inside you'll explore:
In Nourish the Mother sessions, you get space to exhale, tell the truth about how you’re actually doing, and make sense of the emotions that have piled up underneath the day-to-day survival.
The postpartum period isn't just emotional — it's physiological. your nervous system has been through something significant, and it needs more than advice or reassurance to settle.
my approach is rooted in nervous system regulation and trauma-informed care, which means we work with what's happening in your body, not just your thoughts. women i work with often describe finally feeling understood, not just managed.
Together, we’ll sort through the guilt, the pressure to “bounce back,” the shifts in identity, and the moments where you feel like you’re supposed to be grateful… but you’re also exhausted, anxious, or disconnected from your body. Nothing is too small, too messy, or too “I should be over this by now” to bring into the room.
My goal is to help you feel more supported, more steady in your own skin, and more connected to the version of yourself that got lost somewhere between pregnancy, birth, and all the expectations that followed. You deserve a place where you can soften — and this is it.
